Most of you know, I’m a huge baseball fan so I’m very happy that baseball season is back. I’ve said it before, I think baseball is the best sport to compare improv to. It’s a team sport and when the ball is in play, all eyes are on one person. Simultaneously collaborative and singular.

I loved Say Hello to My Little Friend by Jennine Capó Crucet.

I’m really enjoying The Storied Life of AJ Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin. (As many of you might know, she wrote the hit (and absolutely memorable) novel, Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow.)

And when I’m feeling like a change of pace, I’m picking up The Odyssey.
