Martyr! knocked me on my ass in the best way possible. The Wedding People was a great listen (feels weird to say I read a book when I listened to it). Both are darkly comedic and speak to a soul-search/self-discovery in very different but overlapping ways. I highly recommend both. And if you’re looking for more book ideas, give Long Story Books a follow on IG. My friend Amelia has some great reviews and recommendations. And if you want to visit a brick-and-mortar now, Acapella and Bookish are amazing as well.

I’m bringing back a show I co-developed back in Los Angeles. It’s called Neon Cigarette and it opens on October 10th at Onward Theatre. It’s an 80’s noir improv experience and I’m very excited about the cast featuring: Karie Vieria, SJ Wardlaw, Martin Aramayo, Aaron Hale, Lila Mensing, Christina Cusack-Curbelo, Melissa Ullola, and more… Stay tuned…
