I steal from this scene from Good Morning, Vietnam a lot. The abbreviation bit is great and "if you doooo" often pops in my head whenever I say, "and if you do." 

Speaking of great moments in abbreviation, this scene from Boogie Nights is another one taking up residence in my brain. 

Cool improv/teaching stuff

Another session is in the books at Dad's Garage. I'm always counting my blessings being able to work with so many people on their improv journey. This quote from The Creative Act: A Way of Being sums up, what I think, can make for some really fun improv:

"Art is about the maker. Its aim: to be an expression of who we are. This makes competition absurd. Every artist's playing field is specific to them. You are creating the work that best represents you. Another artist is making the work that best represents them. The two cannot be measured against one another."
